Want to learn more about artisan cheese from Sonoma County? Join Dry Creek Kitchen, Cowgirl Creamery and Jordan Winery for a Cheese 101 experience at Relish Culinary Adventures, a stylish modern event space across the street from the restaurant.
Sue Conley, co-founder of Cowgirl Creamery, will teach guests the difference between soft, hard, blue, and cow’s sheep cheese as well as vegetarian and pasteurized options. In addition, guests will learn how to choose, serve, cut, store, cook and pair cheese while noshing on samples and enjoying wines from Jordan Winery.
For an additional $69, Executive Chef Scott Romano will offer a four-course artisan cheese-inspired menu at Dry Creek Kitchen following the cheese class at 7 p.m. Guests can opt to do a pairing dinner with Jordan wines, including library selections, for $127. Dinner reservations can be made via OpenTable or by emailing Dan Prentice at firstname.lastname@example.org.
