The Niche & Exotic Varietals of Sonoma County

Introducing The Niche & Exotic Varietals of Sonoma County, an innovative monthly wine program at Dry Creek Kitchen that delves into the lesser-known treasures of Sonoma County’s renowned wine landscape. With over 60 varietals thriving in its diverse terroirs, Sonoma County’s wine culture extends far beyond its celebrated classics like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Our carefully curated Sonoma County-only wine list reflects this diversity, aiming to represent nearly every varietal grown within the county’s boundaries, including the new, the novel, and even the quirky.
Each month, we highlight a select producer, offering guests the chance to savor a unique varietal with a by-the-glass selection and a featured pairing on our nightly tasting menu. Plus, on a special evening, the winemaker joins us as a sommelier, sharing firsthand insights into their wine’s distinctive characteristics and the unique growing conditions that shape it.
